Hi Everyone!!

So this is my very first day blogging, I thought I would hop onto the band wagon. I have a lot of friends and family doing this and they are so talented at it, they inspired me to start my own. Also what has inspired me is my job. I am a personal trainer, that works at a private gym. My friends and family all ask me advice on exercise and fitness so I thought I would create this blog for them. I would love to be able to train everyone dear to me, however time is always an issue. So here I am.

So far this summer I have made about 5 workouts for my friends and family to follow, most of them had no pictures, just instructions. I emailed them to a group of people and it has been going great. I thought today that I would do a video along with the instructions so no one would get lost. Great idea right? Well so it turns out you cant fit 8 minute videos on a yahoo email account, who knew? So the first blog I will be posting is a VERY amateur video of me explaining the first all over interval train. I should also add how computer illiterate I am and bare with me :).

The routines I designed are a combination of exercises I have learned over the years. I have been inspired by other exercise sites that help keep me motivated and creative. Some of my favorites are the ACE, bodyrockers, shape, oxygen and muscle & fitness sites. I highly recommend any of these to use in your exercise plans.

The lawyer in me must mention: exercise at your own risk! If something is bothering you or hurting you-dont do it! Always be safe when exercising and make sure your form is good, use a mirror or a buddy. One reason that I was hesitant on making routines online is that I cant see you. As a trainer, watching your client move is very important, if you are doing something wrong, you will hear it from a trainer right away. You will have to be responsible on your own to make sure you are being smart and safe. Make sure to always hold your abs tight to protect your back. If you have a bad back, knee, hip, shoulder, etc please be careful!!!! Do not do any exercises that will exasperate previous injuries or weaknesses.

I soon hope to add your stories, goals and successes, healthy tips, recipes and my own stories to share with everyone! With that all said, everyone enjoy the workouts and have fun!
